
About Maiah
Maiah Elyse has been acting since she was five years old. She has appeared in numerous films, one TV episode (Sesame Street) and over a dozen performances in her local theater community. In her latest film, she played the lead as a young girl who aspires to become a Rocket Scientist. In the film "Lawrence and Bently," she played Bently, the slingshot wielding girl who rescues the lead character, Lawrence, from bullies and then tries to befriend him. Her theater roles include a wide range of characters including: Pearl in the world premier of The Scarlet Letter at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House (Denver Center),a Who/Jungle Creature in the professional cast of Seussical at Town Hall Arts Center, JoJo in Seussical Jr., Flounder in The Little Mermaid, The Dwarf in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Captain Hook in Neverland, Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and many other roles. Maiah attends a performing arts school and also studies on-camera acting with a local acting school where she is in the third year of the elite program. She enjoys acting, singing, dancing, tumbling, writing (songs, plays, monologues, poems and short stories), taking veterinary classes and training her dog.
